Spirituality: BJP's Ramesh Awasthi and The Great Kali lead Sanatan Yatra

In the midst of the fervor surrounding the Ram Temple, Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh witnessed a grand event led by BJP chief Ramesh Awasthi and professional wrestler The Great Khali. The Sanatan Yatra, covering a distance of about 40 kilometers, commenced from Ramlala Mandir, Rawatpur Goan, drawing the participation of over 300 vehicles and numerous Rath, along with a multitude of people.

During Sanatan Yatra

As the yatra traversed through Kanpur’s streets, the enthusiasm of the crowd was evident, with people warmly welcoming the procession and showering flowers along its route. Free diyas, Ram calendars, and copies of the Bhagavad Gita were distributed to the public throughout the yatra, symbolizing messages of peace, harmony, and spiritual knowledge.

BJP’s Ramesh Awasthi and The Great Khali show gratitude

Expressing gratitude for the overwhelming support, BJP leader Ramesh Awasthi highlighted the party’s rich cultural history and religious values. The yatra featured a special Ram Darshan Rath, showcasing depictions of Ram Darbar and prominent political figures, including BJP National President JP Nadda, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

Earlier, Shri Ram Seva Mission’s national coordinator Sachin Awasthi had written to PM Narendra Modi, proposing to designate 22 January as “Sanatan Divas” every year, coinciding with the consecration ceremony of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya.

Professional wrestler The Great Khali, also known as Dalip Singh Rana, participated in the Sanatan Yatra organized by the BJP Uttar Pradesh state government and Shri Ram Seva Mission in anticipation of the Ram Lalla consecration ceremony on 22 January.

After participating in the Sanatan Yatra, The Great Khali, accompanied by BJP leaders and social activists, expressed his joy after visiting Kanpur’s renowned Ram Lalla temple. He stated, “After having a ‘darshan’ of Ram Lala in a Ram temple here, I am filled with peace and solace.” Noting the happiness and affection of the people during the procession, he joined in chanting “Jai Shri Ram.”

In conclusion, BJP Leader and Sanatan Yatra organizer Ramesh Awasthi credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the true hero of Sanatan Nav Jagran. He urged people nationwide to light lamps in their homes on the day of Pran Pratistha. Awasthi himself pledged to light lamps in his house and celebrate Diwali with his family, echoing the unity of the entire country in response to the Prime Minister’s call.
