EXCLUSIVE: Case against Firoz Nadiawala to be withdrawn on December 11th. Production on ``Welcome to the Jungle'' begins.

In the upcoming film “Welcome to the Jungle,” featuring Sanjay Dutt, Disha Patani, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Akshay Kumar in lead roles, a controversy surfaced when director Anees Bazmee disclosed that the film’s producer, Firoz Nadiawala, owed him Rs 2 crore. This issue led to a delay in the film’s production, causing a stir in the industry. However, recent developments indicate that the production is set to commence shortly.

President of FWICE, BN Tiwari, shared that filming for “Welcome to the Jungle” is scheduled to begin on December 11, with preparations well underway. Following approval from the film association, a set has been established in Goregaon East. The association became involved when Bazmee sought their assistance after Nadiawala’s check bounced. Nadiawala has now agreed to transfer the outstanding amount to Bazmee through FWICE, and three checks will be issued for this purpose.

Tiwari explained that they have met with Nadiawala, and the checks, made out to the association, will be handed over to Bazmee, who is currently in Los Angeles. The draft of the agreement has been sent to Bazmee, and Tiwari mentioned that the case against Nadiawala is pending but assured that it will be withdrawn.

The initial schedule of the film’s shoot will take place in Mumbai, contrary to the original plan to start in Gujarat. An insider revealed that the actors, including Akshay Kumar, will participate in shooting essential scenes during this Mumbai schedule. The remaining shooting locations have not been disclosed yet.

Efforts to reach out to both Nadiawala and Bazmee for comments were unsuccessful at the time of publication. In a previous interview, Bazmee mentioned that despite several meetings over the years, the issue of payment could not be resolved. While they expressed a desire for him to direct “Welcome 3” and assured payment clearance, Bazmee stated in a September interview that no positive outcome emerged from these negotiations.
