Prime Minister Modi’s Pledge: Devoting Every Second to Maa Bharti

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in a ceremony invoking “Maa Bharti,” dedicated the BAPS Hindu temple in Abu Dhabi, expressing his lifelong devotion to the country. He declared that every moment of his life is dedicated to serving “Maa Bharti.” During the inauguration, he highlighted his spiritual ties to India and emphasized viewing each day as an opportunity to contribute to the country’s development.

The Prime Minister praised the UAE for adding a new cultural chapter to its identity with the BAPS Hindu temple, complementing its well-known modern structures. He expressed confidence in increased people-to-people contacts and tourism, anticipating a significant number of devotees visiting the temple in the near future.

Acknowledging the support of President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the UAE Government, PM Modi thanked them for backing India and millions of Indians globally. He disclosed that the Vice President of the UAE has donated land in Dubai for an Indian laborers’ hospital.

Highlighting the cultural and diplomatic significance of the BAPS Hindu temple, the Prime Minister lauded the UAE government’s contribution to its construction. He hoped that such initiatives would deepen the relationship between the two nations, describing the temple as a symbol of harmony and unity.

PM Modi acknowledged the years of hard work invested in the temple’s inauguration and its connection to the blessings of Swaminarayan. He expressed gratitude for the President’s approval of the temple, attributing it to his love and support, showcasing respect for India.

During his third visit to the UAE in eight months, Prime Minister Modi spoke at the ‘Ahlan Modi’ event, further emphasizing the significance of the Maa Bharti  BAPS temple. The visit underscores the strong ties and mutual cooperation between India and the UAE.
