Jessie James Decker latest Instagram post captured a tender moment: lying on a hospital bed, she cradled her newborn against her chest while her husband Eric looked on lovingly. In another photo, their new addition, dressed in a cute zip-up romper adorned with helicopters and cars, lay peacefully on a blanket.

This isn’t the first time the Deckers have welcomed a bundle of joy into their family. With three older children—sons Eric Thomas, 8, and Forrest Bradley, 5, and daughter Vivianne Rose, 9—Jessie and Eric announced last August that they were expecting again. Jessie shared her growing baby bump on Instagram with a reel set to the tune of “Always Be My Baby,” revealing later that they were having a boy.

In preparation for the new arrival, Jessie enlisted the help of her kids, who eagerly pitched in to set up the nursery. She revealed to People magazine that her 5-year-old, Forrest, even writes love letters to his future sibling, brimming with excitement about becoming a big brother. Meanwhile, her eldest, Eric, has taken on a protective role, ensuring his mom and new brother are well cared for.

Despite the joy surrounding the pregnancy, Jessie James Decker admitted in an August 2023 Instagram story that the news came as a surprise, emphasizing that the fourth pregnancy was unplanned. She candidly shared her initial shock and conversations with her husband, former NFL player Eric, about the unexpected addition to their family.

Notably, Jessie has been quite vocal about Eric’s refusal to get a vasectomy. She said in an interview with the US Weekly in January 2023,

He says it takes, like, his manhood away from him. So he’s just gonna leave it, I guess.
