Sons of the Forest’s 1.0 Release in February 22, Reveals Endgame

Since its initial launch in 2023, Sons of the Forest has been consistently updated, with February 22, 2024, marking the culmination of its development efforts.
IGN, the renowned American video game and entertainment website, has been closely involved in promoting the game, with particular emphasis placed on its captivating trailer, which opens with adorable raccoons stealing the spotlight.

While much of the trailer may appear similar to existing game content, there are notable additions that stand out. According to the trailer, the updated version will introduce fresh adversaries to engage with, novel landscapes to traverse, and seemingly innovative gadgets to craft. Of particular interest are the inclusion of a hand glider and launchpad, showcasing remarkable ingenuity within the confines of the dark forest setting.
Furthermore, the teaser hints at more expansive updates to the game’s endings in version 1.0, although the full extent of these changes can only be confirmed upon the unpredictable conclusion of the forest’s narrative.
According to Gamerant, Sons of the Forest notable features that differentiate the updated version from its predecessor include:
