The Dehradun City Police Station received the case registration, and Jeena is facing charges under Indian Penal Code sections 147/186/504/506.

The case stems from a complaint by Yashpal Singh, Secretary of the Municipal Corporation Drivers Association, accusing Jeena and others of abusing senior officials and employees, threatening their lives, and interfering with business.

In response to the situation, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has ordered an investigation into the dispute between the Dehradun Municipal Commissioner and the BJP MLA. Garhwal Commissioner Vinay Shankar Pandey is overseeing the investigation.

The IAS Association has strongly condemned the incident, labeling it as illegal interference in the executive branch’s proceedings. The association expressed support for Dehradun Municipal Commissioner Gaurav Kumar and the IAS officer over BJP MLA Mahesh Jeena.
