CM Siddaramaiah Alleges Masked Man as Culprit in Bomb Explosion

A thorough investigation is underway following the explosion at The Rameshwaram Cafe in Bengaluru’s Whitefield on Thursday. The Forensic Science Laboratory, bomb disposal squad, and dog squad, along with top police officials, are actively working on the case. Ten individuals were injured in the incident

Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah provided details about the suspect, mentioning that the individual wore a mask and a cap, entered a bus, set a timer, and then detonated the explosive.

The home minister and deputy CM visited the location, emphasizing the need for a comprehensive investigation without political interference. The CM will preside over a meeting with top police officers to discuss the situation.

According to Home Minister Dr. G Parameshwara, the suspect is believed to have arrived at the cafe via a public bus. The police are meticulously examining CCTV footage for tangible proof and have formed multiple groups to investigate the incident.

The explosion involved a timer, and the FSL team is actively working on the case. Siddaramaiah The Karnataka government has established eight teams to probe the explosion, and Deputy Chief Minister Shivakumar provided additional details, stating that a man with a briefcase caused the low-intensity blast.

An eyewitness, a safety guard outside the cafe, described the sudden loud noise and fire, injuring patrons inside the hotel .Siddaramaiah  The suspect, described as a man in his late 20s or early 30s, ordered Rava idli for breakfast but left without finishing it after paying. The explosive device, with a one-hour timer, was placed in a bag behind a woman, and the blast occurred at 1:00 PM.
