Amit Behl has confirmed that TV actor Rituraj Singh died due to cardiac arrest.

TV actor Rituraj Singh, known for his role as Yashpal in the popular television series Anupamaa, passed away at the age of 59 due to cardiac arrest. His close friend and fellow actor Amit Behl confirmed the news, stating that Rituraj had been admitted to the hospital recently for a pancreatic illness.

According to reports, Rituraj had returned home after receiving treatment for his pancreas but experienced cardiac issues, leading to his untimely demise. Actor Arshad Warsi expressed his grief on the former Twitter platform, remembering Rituraj as a wonderful actor and friend, mentioning their shared experiences in their early careers.

Rituraj Singh had an extensive career in television, featuring in shows like Banegi Apni Baat, Jyoti, Hitler Didi, Shapith, Warrior High, Aahat, Adaalat, and Diya aur Baati Hum. He also portrayed Balwant Choudhary in Laado 2. Besides television, Rituraj appeared in movies like Thunivu (2023), Vash-Possessed by the Obsessed, and Badrinath Ki Dulhania (2017), as well as the web series Criminal, Hey Prabhu, The Test Case, Abhay, Bandish Bandits, Never Kiss Your Best Friend, and Made in Heaven Season 2.

The sudden death of Rituraj Singh has left fans and colleagues in shock. Sandip Sikand, who worked closely with Rituraj in Kahani Ghar Ghar Kii, expressed his sorrow, describing the late actor as not only talented but also one of the most pure-hearted individuals he had ever met.
