Singh’s comments align with the official statement from the Ministry of Defense regarding Chief of Army Staff General Manoj Pande’s four-day visit to the United States starting on February 13. The visit includes meetings with General Randy George, the US and India of Staff of the Army, and other senior military leaders. The agenda covers various topics such as global threat perception, Indian Army changes, Army 2030–2040 plans, force growth and modernization, human resource challenges, and co-production and co-development initiatives.

The purpose of these discussions is to facilitate the exchange of knowledge, concepts, and best practices between the armed forces of the two nations. General Manoj Pande’s itinerary includes visits to the Pentagon,

Arlington National Cemetery, the National Defense University at Fort McNair, and the Army Geospatial Centre at Fort Belvoir. Additionally, he will engage with various units known for military strategy and innovation, including the Defense Innovation Unit in San Francisco, the Stryker Unit, the 1st Multi-Domain Task Force, and the 1st Special Forces Group in Seattle.
