Samrat Choudhary, who was elected as the Leader of the BJP legislative party in Bihar, assumed the position of the state BJP chief on March 27, 2023. Having joined the BJP six years ago, Choudhary had previously served as the BJP leader of Opposition in the Bihar Legislative Council.
