Sarees decorated with images of Lord Rama are being transported from Surat to Ayodhya.

Rakesh Jain, a textile merchant , Ayodhya collaborated with Sharma to create a special saree intended for Ma Janaki, to be delivered to the Uttar Pradesh temple in Ayodhya.

Jain mentioned that the fabric was crafted with the purpose of being part of the impending consecration ceremony of Lord Ram’s idol at the Ayodhya temple. Sharma assured that the saree would reach Ayodhya by January 22, although a specific delivery date was not provided. The initiative aimed to enable devotees who couldn’t physically attend the ceremony to participate in a way that suits them.

The anticipation for the consecration of Lord Ram’s idol at the Ayodhya temple is being celebrated worldwide. Sharma expressed the joy of Ma Janaki and Lord Hanuman, emphasizing the special saree featuring images of Lord Ram and the Ayodhya temple. The saree was offered to Ma Janaki at the temple and is set to be sent to the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. Sharma added that, upon request, they are willing to send the saree at no cost to various Lord Ram’s temples, where Ma Janaki resides.

Originating from Surat, Gujarat, renowned as the nation’s leading textile center, the unique saree is dedicated to Lord Ram’s wife, Mata Sita (Ma Janaki), showcasing images of Lord Ram and the magnificent temple. Lalit Sharma, a member of the textile industry, disclosed that the first saree was presented to a Surat temple on Sunday.

As the Ram Mandir inauguration day approaches, preparations are underway for the consecration ceremony of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya, with Vedic rituals commencing on January 16. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to attend the consecration ceremony on January 22.

The General Secretary of Shri Ram Janambhoomi Teerath Kshetra, Champat Rai, shared details about the idol, revealing that it would be carved from black stone, resembling a five-year-old child, and standing 51 inches tall. The excitement in the air is palpable as the time for the “Pran Pratishtha” event draws near. Thousands of dignitaries and people from various walks of life are expected to participate in this historic event.
