The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will hold celebrations across the country today to mark Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s birth anniversary.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is set to host a grand celebration in honor of the late Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on December 25, marking his 99th birthday. Across the nation, various events are planned to commemorate the life and legacy of Vajpayee, who served as prime minister for three terms.

JP Nadda, the national president of the BJP, has called for widespread floral tributes to be displayed at polling places, and party leaders are urged to take a moment to honor Vajpayee’s remarkable contributions. Creative programs showcasing Vajpayee’s poetry will be organized at booth levels, reflecting on his birth anniversary.

Six booth-level programs, including one dedicated to Vajpayee’s birth anniversary, will engage beneficiaries in discussions about government programs, achievements, and effective leadership. The BJP-ruled state governments will highlight the central government’s plans, accomplishments, and initiatives focused on good governance for the benefit of the underprivileged in every district.

December 25 is not only Vajpayee’s birthday but also celebrated as Good Governance Day, emphasizing the government’s accountability and the accessibility of public programs and services. Jitendra Singh will inaugurate Good Governance Day, which aligns with Vajpayee’s birth anniversary.

In addition, the centennial celebration of Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s birth is underway, culminating in a grand celebration on December 25, 2024. Chief Minister Yogi praised Vajpayee’s global contributions, infrastructure projects, and initiatives for the welfare of the poor during the Atal Geet Ganga Program. Notably, a magnificent temple dedicated to Lord Ram, embodying Vajpayee’s values, is scheduled to be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on January 22, 2024.
