The complaint was forwarded by lawyer Jai Anant Dehadrai to the Speaker of Lok Sabha, Om Birla. Moitra refuted the allegations, and suggestions for her expulsion from Lok Sabha were made after the Ethics Committee submitted a report on the cash for query case.
