When submarines ignore demands to the surface, the fregat crew “uses the appropriate way” and the remaining US submarines with full speed, said Moscow.

A Russian anti-submarine destroyer expelled a US submarine near the Kuril Islands, forced him to leave the territorial waters of the country, said Moscow on Saturday, amid increasing tensions in Ukraine.

But the US military denied that account.

The Russian Ministry of Defense said that during the planned military training, the Destruction of Marshal Shaposhnikov had detected the US Navy Virginia submarine in the Russian territorial waters near the Kuril Islands in the North Pacific.

When submarines ignore the demands to the surface, the fregat crew “uses the appropriate way” and the remaining US submarines with full speed, the ministry said, without providing further details.

The ministry said he had summoned US defense attaches in Moscow for the incident.

“In connection with violations by US Navy submarines from the state border from the Russian Federation, the defense attachment at the US Embassy in Moscow was called to the Russian Ministry of Defense”, the Ministry of Defense said.

The statement from the US military, however, said: “There is no truth to Russian claims about our operations in their territorial waters.”

Captain Kyle Raines, spokesman for the US Indo Pacific command, said he would not comment on the location of the right US submarine.

But he added: “We fly, sail, and operate safely in international waters.”

Kuril, who lay in the north of Hokkaido Island Japan, has been controlled by Moscow because they were confiscated by Soviet forces in the world of Indonesian War II.

The alleged incident occurred near Kuril Uril Island, which was controlled by Russia.

It comes in the midst of increasing tensions between Russia and the West who have seen Moscow surround Ukraine on three sides with more than 100,000 soldiers.

Washington has warned that an all-out invasion can start “every day”.

Russian leader Vladimir Putin on Saturday condemned claims such as “provocation”.
