Afghanistan Highlights Afghan opposition leader Ahmad Massoud Sunday said he’s ready to stop fighting if Taliban withdraw from Panjshir. The police headquarters and neighborhood centre of Rukhah had fallen, and opposition forces had suffered multifold casualties, Taliban point man Bilal Karimi said on Twitter.

Notwithstanding, the claim has not been corroborated yet. Anteriorly on Sunday, Fahim Dashti, point man for the National Resistance Front of Afghanistan (NRFA), said the Taliban “ propaganda machine” was trying to spread detracting dispatches.
