Halo season 2 nabs showrunner ahead of potential renewal
2 min readWhile Paramount has not officially updated the Halo television series for the second season, this series has found a showrunner for his future.
According to a recent report of varieties, David Wiener (Brave New World) was in talks to take over as a showrunner for the Halo series. The news came belonging to the executive producers Justin Falvey, who confirmed that Wiener was discussing during the TCA panel recently for a very waiting television series.
While this series may have found a future showrunner, the series status is mostly still in the air. Paramount has not officially updated the Halo series for the second season, and representatives for the company said that Wiener was “one of several candidates” in carrying out the position of Showrunner.
Should Wiener get a position, he will replace Steven Kane, who joined the series in March 2019 and developed a series with Kyle Killen, a nail that signed in the series in 2018 when Hello was still at that time. Since then, Killen and Kane have been away from the series, with Killen away before his production, and Kane decided to stay away after the completion of season 1.
