Ranbir Kapoor clinched the coveted Best Actor—Male trophy at the 2024 Filmfare Awards for his stellar performance in “Animal,” while Alia Bhatt secured the Best Actress title for her role in “Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.”

The power couple, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, emerged as the stars of the 69th annual Filmfare Awards, dominating the evening with their outstanding portrayals in last year’s releases.

Ranbir Kapoor’s portrayal in the controversial film “Animal” directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga earned him the Best Actor in a Leading Role (Male) accolade.

Alia Bhatt, on the other hand, was honored as the Best Actor in a Leading Role (Female) for her remarkable performance in the love family drama “Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani,” directed by Karan Johar.

In the fiercely contested categories, the historical drama “12th Fail,” directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra and starring Atlee Kumar, emerged victorious as the Best Film. Other nominees included “Animal,” “Jawan,” “OMG 2,” “Pathaan,” “Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani,” and “Rocky.”
