During the first eight to ten years in the industry, Dia revealed that fear heavily influenced her decisions. She struggled with finding her voice and authenticity, a journey that took time but ultimately guided all her subsequent choices. Dia also expressed detest for the prevalence of fake news in the acting industry, a constant challenge that actors have to contend with.

Addressing fears such as ageism, rejection, and the fear of missing out on opportunities, Dia emphasized the impact these concerns had on her early career. Despite facing these challenges, she persevered and continues to contribute to the industry.

Dia Mirza’s recent film, “Dhak Dhak,” directed by Tarun Dudeja and featuring Ratna Pathak Shah, Fatima Sana Shaikh, and Sanjana Sanghi, explores the story of four unique women who embark on a daring journey to the Khardungla Pass, the highest motorable road in the world. Dia’s debut film, “Rehaaa Hai Tere Dil Main,” a remake of the Tamil film Minnale, directed by Gautam Menon, marked the beginning of her cinematic journey.
