The fatal incident occurred at 5:50 am on Palm Beach Road in Nerul, Navi Mumbai, as Saini was cycling with companions. He was struck by a speeding cab driven by Hrishikesh Khade. Despite wearing a helmet, Saini sustained severe injuries, and the impact resulted in his bicycle getting lodged under the front wheels of the cab.
