Sarwan Singh Pandher, the leader of the ‘Delhi Chalo’ agitation by farmers, has issued a stern warning to the BJP-led government after the rejection of the Centre’s proposal to purchase crops at Minimum Support Prices (MSP). Pandher stated that the government will be held accountable for the consequences of their actions. The farmers, undeterred by the government’s stance, have announced the resumption of their protest march towards Delhi on February 21.

Pandher highlighted the government’s explicit refusal to allow them to enter Delhi, drawing parallels between the situation in Haryana and Kashmir. He pointed out the extraordinary efforts by the police, including shelling and the use of bullets on tractor tires, reminiscent of the government’s determination to prevent their entry into Delhi. Pandher also demanded accountability for the use of tear gas and denounced false statements.
