PM Modi’s Interaction with Students in Pariksha Pe Charcha 2024: A Discussion on Exam Stress
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to engage with students in a meaningful discussion on exam-related challenges during the upcoming Pariksha Pe Charcha event. Scheduled for Monday, the gathering of “exam warriors” will witness PM Modi sharing insights and guidance with the participants.
In a recent post on social media platform X, PM Modi extended an invitation to join the discussion at 11 am for Pariksha Pe Charcha. This event is a crucial part of the larger Exam Warriors movement spearheaded by the Prime Minister, aiming to create a stress-free atmosphere for the youth amid the pressures of exams.

State Minister for Education, Subhas Sarkar, addressed the media in a press conference, shedding light on the significance of Pariksha Pe Charcha. The event serves as a platform where teachers, parents, and students come together to interact, discuss, and alleviate stress during exams.
Pariksha Pe Charcha and Its Evolution:
Dr. Sarkar explained that the event has been effectively organized for the past six years through the Department of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of Education. The first three editions took place in New Delhi in a city-hall interactive format. The fourth edition, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, was held online and telecast on Doordarshan and major TV channels. The fifth and sixth editions returned to the city hall format at Talkatora Stadium, New Delhi.
Inclusivity and Participation:
Last year’s edition saw active participation, with approximately 31.24 lakh students, 5.60 lakh teachers, and 1.95 lakh parents enthusiastically taking part in the contests. Dr. Sarkar highlighted the overwhelming response to the 7th edition, with a massive 2.26 crore registrations on the MyGov portal, indicating the widespread enthusiasm among students nationwide.
MCQ Session and Special Guests:
Dr. Sarkar shared that a unique aspect of Pariksha Pe Charcha is the inclusion of students and a teacher from each State and Union Territory, along with winners of the Kala Utsav, as special guests for the main event. Additionally, a hundred students from Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS) across the country will attend the event for the first time.
The selection process involved a multiple-choice question (MCQ) session conducted on the MyGov portal between December 11 and January 12, 2023, for students in classes 6 to 12, teachers, and parents.
Conclusion and Program Highlights:
Participants in Pariksha Pe Charcha will receive a special kit containing the Exam Warriors book in Hindi and English, authored by PM Modi, along with certificates. The program, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, focuses on providing guidance to students in overcoming exam stress while equipping teachers and parents to manage the challenging exam environment more effectively. The upcoming event is scheduled for January 29, 2024, at Bharat Mandapam, ITPO, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, in a city hall format from 11 am onward.
