Renowned figure Gurmeet Ram Rahim, convicted of rape and murder, has been granted a 50-day parole by the Haryana government, as reported by New Delhi. This marks the sixth approval of Rahim’s parole application in the past four years. Completing a 21-day jail term in November 2023, Rahim has experienced three paroles in the past year. His total of 184 days outside prison includes both furlough and parole. Following his 2017 conviction for murder and rape, Rahim served time at Sunaria Prison.
