Costing Rs 1,600 crore, the 43-acre Boeing India Engineering and Technology Centre (BIETC) is set to become a crucial hub for partnerships with startups, individuals, and the government in India’s aerospace and defense sector. PM Modi launched the Boeing Sukanya program. 

During the inauguration, PM Modi launched the Boeing Sukanya Program, aimed at encouraging the entry of more girls into India’s growing aviation sector. The program focuses on providing opportunities for women and girls to acquire essential skills in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields, preparing them for careers in aviation.

The benefit of PM Modi’s new Boeing program 

The Boeing Sukanya Program includes the establishment of STEM labs at 150 locations to ignite interest in STEM careers among young girls. Additionally, the program offers scholarships for women aspiring to become pilots, emphasizing the government’s commitment to promoting gender diversity in the aviation industry.
