Karma Calling Trailer: Raveena Tandon can’t escape karma.

Raveena Tandon is set to return to the thriller genre with her upcoming web series, “Karma Calling,” a reimagining of the popular Revenge series. The actress, known for her success in the first web series “Aranyak,” will portray the character of Indrani Kothari, a glamorous 90s queen now married to a billionaire.

In the series, Indrani becomes the target of Karma Talwar, played by Namrata Sheth, who appears as a girl seeking retribution without any empathy. The storyline revolves around Karma’s desire for deceit to avenge deceit, eye for an eye, and blood for blood. Despite Indrani seemingly facing consequences for her past actions, the trailer hints at her going to great lengths to avoid Karma.

The ensemble cast includes Varun Sood, Vikramjeet Virk, Waluscha De Sousa, Gaurav Sharma, Viraf Patel, Amy Aela, and others. The show is scheduled to start streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from January 26, promising a narrative of power, wealth, and intrigue.

The caption posted by Disney+ Hotstar with the trailer teases, “Na power, na paisa, na rules—Indrani ka samna koi nhi kr paaya” (No power, no money, no rules—no one could face Indrani). The series is expected to explore how power, wealth, and regulations struggle to handle Indrani when she confronts her karma head-on.

“Karmma Calling” is a reimagining of the well-liked American television series “Revenge,” set in the world of glitz and glamour, where treachery and deceit dominate. The show promises enormous scale, grandeur, and a glamorous outlook under the direction and adaptation of Ruchi Narain, best known for “Guilty.”

The series has garnered attention for being a remake of “Revenge,” and fans are eagerly anticipating its release. The trailer has sparked positive reactions online, with viewers expressing excitement about the intriguing storyline and recognizing the parallels with the original American series.

Raveena Tandon, born on October 26, 1974, in Mumbai, Maharashtra, is a well-known actress in India. A Scorpio by zodiac sign, she completed her education at Mumbai’s Jamnabai Narsee School. Raveena’s father, Ravi Tandon, is a film producer, while her mother is a housewife. She has a brother, Rajeev Tandon, and is married to Anil Thandani, with whom she has four children – Ranbir Thandani, Pooja Tandon, Chhata Tandan, and Rashan Thandani.

Before entering the acting world, Raveena Tandon worked with advertising producer Prahlad Kakkar at Genesis PR. Encouraged by friends and colleagues who recognized her acting talent, she made her debut in the 1991 Bollywood film “Pathar ke Phool” and won the Lux New Face of the Year Filmfare Award.
