Swati Mishra released the devotional music on her YouTube channel in October 2023, and it has garnered an impressive 43 million views to date. PM Modi, expressing his appreciation, shared videos of the bhajan on the X platform, praising Mishra’s voice and remarkable talent in delivering this devotional piece that welcomes Shri Ram Lalla.

The inauguration ceremony, scheduled for January 22, will see PM Modi conducting rituals in the sanctum sanctorum of the Ram Temple during the pran-pratishtha rite around 12:15 pm. The Vedic rituals for the inauguration will commence on January 16, with clergyman Lakshmi Kant Dixit from Varanasi overseeing the main consecration ceremony.
Rituals for Ram Temple inauguration in Ayodhya
Union Minister Pralhad Joshi, in a now-deleted post on X (formerly Twitter), announced the finalization of the idol for the Prana Pratishtapana of Lord Rama in Ayodhya. The chosen idol, crafted by Karnataka’s renowned sculptor Arun Yogiraj, will be installed in Ayodhya during the consecration ceremony.

PM Modi expressed his gratitude, stating, “I feel very blessed. It is my good fortune that in my lifetime, I will witness this historic occasion,” upon receiving the invitation for the event. The consecration rite will involve placing the idol of Ram Lalla in the newly constructed Ram temple’s sanctum-sanctorum, followed by its opening for devotees.
Over 7,000 invitation cards have been dispatched, including 3,000 for VVIPs, monks, donors, and various politicians. Additionally, tent cities are being set up in Ayodhya to accommodate the influx of devotees expected to attend the pran-pratishtha ceremony of Ram Lalla. The foundation stone for the Ram temple was laid by PM Modi on August 5, 2020.
