Actor Sooraj Pancholi, having recently concluded a decade-long trial in the Jiah Khan suicide case, has re-emerged on screen with a music video, signaling his readiness to forge ahead with his career. Expressing a penchant for the inventive storytelling prevalent on the web and the absence of conventional clichés, Pancholi emphasizes his commitment to avoiding projects that might discomfort his family.

Cognizant of his responsibility towards his mother and sister, Pancholi discloses, “I am not allowed to take on any tasks or participate in any endeavor that would put them in an awkward situation or cause them discomfort.” Despite his eagerness to explore various roles to showcase his acting prowess, he remains steadfast in ensuring that he doesn’t cross any boundaries that may affect his family.

Having inked deals for several projects in the OTT space, Pancholi shares his attraction to the creative narratives and the absence of conventional tropes in online content. He adds, “Dancing among the trees is not something I enjoy doing. In addition, people these days prefer to watch media that awakens them to reality and provokes them.”

While acknowledging the continued popularity of larger-than-life movies evidenced by box office hits like Jawan, Animal, and Pathan, Pancholi highlights the uniqueness of such situations, citing Shah Rukh Khan’s star power as a decisive factor. He comments, “This is a one-in-a-hundred chance situation. This is a Shah Rukh Khan movie, and he is sufficient to carry the film.”
