In the latest episode of “Kaun Banega Crorepati 15,” which aired its 84th installment on December 7, iconic host Amitabh Bachchan was moved to tears as he reminisced about his father’s financial struggles. Contestant Vishwas Tulshiram Dake, a farmer from Maharashtra, took the hot seat after winning the fastest finger first round, sparking a touching conversation about his modest earnings.
Dake, who cultivates sweet lime and sugarcane on his farm, disclosed that his annual income does not exceed 2 lakh rupees, with labor costs being even lower. He candidly shared that he had to borrow Rs 10,000 from friends to afford the audition expenses. Reflecting on his past, Dake revealed, “I had to discontinue my education due to the inability to pay the 12th-grade exam fees.”
Expressing admiration for Dake’s resilience, Amitabh Bachchan remarked, “God will ensure that you are blessed for your noble work.” Dake’s journey continued with poignant anecdotes from his childhood, highlighting the financial challenges his family faced. Despite not having enough money for pens, Dake’s father earned a meager income of Rs. 300 to Rs. 400.
