Tommy Lee is the most famous musician who was born in Thomas Lee Bass in Athens, Greece on October 3, 1962. As per the records, his father was there in U.S. Army sergeant whereas his mother was Miss Greece in 1960. The name of her younger sister is Athena and his family moved to California when Lee was about a year old. At the age of four, he received his first drumsticks, and when a teenager he got his first true drum kit after he discovered hard rock and heavy metal.
Probing further, when he was in school only, Lee was a drummer in his high school marching band. Lee’s first band Studio 19, played the Sunset Strip in the early 80s and that was the only time when he first met future Mötley Crüe bandmate, Nikki Sixx. Other Projects of Tommy Lee
Lee formed a supergroup-style rap-metal band that is called the Methods of Mayhem in 1999. This was the same year when the band released its first album, Methods of Mayhem, and has also embarked on a tour in support of the self-titled record. The first solo album, Never a Dull Moment, was released by Lee in the year 2002. Moreover, this was the same year when Lee’s solo band joined the lineup of the heavy metal music festival Ozzfest. In the year 2004, Lee and the rest of the original lineup of Mötley Crüe reunited to release a double-CD anthology album that was called Red, White, & Crüe.
