2 min readIn a very hot and competitive offer war, Netflix secures the right to the Thriller of a massive espionage action called Heart of Stone which will star in Gal Gadot. Film Making has begun in March 2022 and this is the other we know so far about the coming spy thriller.
The film was developed by the Skydance media production company which was also behind significant projects such as mission: Impossible: Fallout, old guard, extermination, the top pistol: Maverick, and more. Just like a mission: Impossible, Netflix hopes that Heart of Stone will mark the beginning of the new women-centric espionage franchise.
Heart of Stone Netflix will be directed by Tom Harper who is known to work on such projects as eyeplers, aeronauts, wild roses, war & peace, and more. The script for Heart of Stone was written by Greg Rucka (The Old Guard) and Allison Schroeder, the last of who was nominated by Oscar for hidden figures.
George Steel (Netflix is Sandman, Aeronauts) will serve as a photography director on the project.
This film will be produced by Skydance Media David Ellison, Fund Goldberg, Bonnie Curtis, Julie Lynn, Jaron Varsano, and Don Granger, along with Gadot and partners producing pilot waves Jaron Varsano, Bonnie Curtis, and Julie Lynn.

On March 7, 2022, filming began in Shepperton Studios in England. This was confirmed by the actress Gal Gadot, who shared the image on the first day set on Twitter.
We are not sure how long the filming will run, but we believe that the news that filming has concluded on March 28, 2022 was wrongly reported by IMDB.

Netflix has not set a release date for the heart of the stone, but with potentially a very ambitious large budget production and a big star installed like Gal Gadot, we will not expect it to arrive at Netflix faster than 2023.
