Washington: The U.S. The Center for Control and Prevention of Disease (CDC) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Monday suggested not to travel to Germany and Denmark because of the increasing number of Covid-19 cases in these countries.
CDC increases its travel recommendations to “Level Four: Very High” for two European countries, telling Americans they should avoid traveling there, while the Department of Foreign Affairs issued a parallel “Don’t travel” for both countries.
CDC currently includes around 75 destinations around the world at level four, with many European countries in the list including Austria, England, Belgium, Greece, Norway, Switzerland, Romania, Ireland, and the Czech Republic.
German Chancellor Angela Merkel told its conservative party leaders that the steps taken to stop the spread of Coronavirus in Europe’s largest economy was not enough and that stronger actions needed to be taken, Reuters reported on Monday.
The case number in Germany has soared, especially among parents who were the first two shots of the Covid-19 vaccine at the beginning of the year, and among children who did not qualify for inoculation.
Earlier this month, the World Health Organization (WHO) said European countries must work harder to prevent Coronavirus prevent further as death and new cases.
