Babil Khan, son of the final actor Irrfan Khan, answered to Instagram users who wanted to know about his religion. He said that he did not identify any religion and ‘for all’.
Taking to Instagram’s story, son of Irrfan Khan Babil Khan shared a screenshot of comments, who asked, “My brother is a Muslim?” In his reply, he wrote, “@ Sahil_insta69 I do not belong to any religion,” followed by, “@ Sahil_insta69 I was Babylon.”
Babil also added, “I have read the Bible, Bhagvad Gita, the Quran and I am reading the teacher of Granth Sahib. I for all. How do we help each other evolve is the basis of all religions.”
In the past, Babylon had talked about ‘raised as a human without religion’. “I have enjoyed the celebration of Diwali and Holi and Raksha Bandhan and Eid al-Fitr and I have also been to church and give my respect,” he replied to Instagram users last year. “I like people, I try to stand up for people,” he added.
Last year, Babyl wrote about Instagram’s story that he was ‘human’ and did not want to be assessed based on his religion. “I don’t want to be judged by my religion. I’m not my religion, I am a human, like the Indian population,” he wrote.
Babylon was arranged to make his acting debut with Anvitaa Dutt’s Qala, who also starred in Triptii Dimri. This film will come out directly on Netflix. He also bagged his second project, even before the release of his first film. He will starred in the film directed by Shoejoit Sircar.
Last month, Babil announced his decision to get out of college to fully focus on his acting career. He was studying films at the University of Westminster.
