Actor Varun Dhawan on Tuesday opened up on ‘fatherhood’ and said that he hasn’t been able to name his ‘boy’ yet. Taking to Instagram, Varun shared a video clip in which he is seen spending time with his puppy, a beagle.
In the video, Varun Dhawan is seen lying on the floor of his house as the puppy jumps around him trying to play with him. As the puppy tries to lick his face, Varun laughs. He wore a white sleeveless t-shirt as Phil Collins’ In The Air Tonight plays in the background. Captioning the post, Varun wrote, “FATHERHOOD Still haven’t been able to name my boy. Help me out.”
Several celebs, as well as fans, reacted to the video. Actor Sonakshi Sinha wrote, “Omg!!! Whats his naaaaame????” while Nushrratt Bharuccha said, “awww”. Sophie Choudry commented, “Omg adorable.” Director Zoya Akhtar wrote, “when am I meeting him?” to which Varun replied, “soon soon will set up a play date,” and Zoya responded, “yes! Lucky will go nuts with him”.
Fans also commented on the post. One wrote, “The hair bounce on that swing.” Another said, “Hot chocolate fudge! The puppy have my whole heart.” A third wrote, “you’ll indeed be the best Father!” while another commented, “you’re the Bestest Father”. “You looking so good wid ur Angel,” said a fan. Earlier this year, Varun got married in Alibaug to fashion designer Natasha Dalal. The wedding was attended only by the family and closest friends. Karan Johar and Kunal Kohli were among the Bollywood personalities who were invited to the wedding.
Over the last few months, Varun and Natasha were in Arunachal Pradesh where he was shooting for his upcoming horror-comedy film Bhediya. However, due to the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic, the team had to return to Mumbai. In Bhediya, Varun will star opposite actor Kriti Sanon and is expected to portray the role of a werewolf.
Varun also has Jug Jugg Jeeyo with Anil Kapoor, Kiara Advani, and Neetu Singh. The team was shooting when both Neetu and Varun tested positive for Covid-19 and the shoot was halted.
